About First Lutheran Church

Our mission is to worship God, to serve others, to support one another, and to invite all people to share in this Christian ministry.

We are a friendly, active, and welcoming congregation! For 170 years, First Lutheran Church has witnessed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this downtown setting. We are a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, which is 4 million people strong and made up of over 10,000 congregations along with several educational and social services institutions.

On Sunday mornings, we gather at 9:00 am to hear God's Word, sing our praise, give thanks for life, confess our sins, eat at the Lord's table, and to be sent out for ministry in the world.

After worship, join us in Fellowship Hall for beverages and treats.
